The second Annual Tomorrow's Heroes Football Festival is underway at the Riverside Complex, Dundee, attracting almost 200 participants from throughout Scotland. Through Dundee United, the event offers children a unique experience to play summer football in a fun, safe and rewarding environment. This national festival is geared to creating the opportunity for Scottish children to unlock their sporting potential.
Dundee United and SFA Committee coaching staff are aiming to ensure that the children are kept active and are developing the fundamental skills required in football. Each day will consist of a theme based around a different skill, which will be developed in small-sided games.
There are places left on next week's SFA Goalgetters course at Gussie Park: from 10.30am to 12.00 noon for 9 to 13-year-olds, and 1.30pm - 3.00pm for 5 - 8 year old children. The Dundee United Soccer Festival will be held on the 6th, 7th and 8th August 2002 - however, there are only limited places left.
