ALEX SMITH - WE MUST BE AT OUR BEST

Despite three hours of rain this afternoon, the Tennent's Scottish Cup tie with Hamilton Accies goes ahead this evening with a 7.45pm kick-off. Manager Alex Smith is looking forward to the match. "I have been on both sides of the camp when it comes to matches similar to our game with Hamilton. I know the attitude of players coming to play in a big occasion match such as a Cup tie against a team from a higher division. Their attitude is usually the correct one and therefore we will have to be at our best. We will have to make sure that our own attitude is correct for this match for there is too much at stake for us to be anything other than at our very best. We will have to use any extra pace and skills that we have in certain areas to win us the game."

The winner of this evening's match will play a home tie against Ayr United in the Quarter-Finals on Saturday 23rd February.
