Team News
Jim Goodwin made two changes for our final group match in the Premier Sports Cup!
They came in the shape of Dave Richards and Kai Fotheringham who replaced Jack Walton and Glenn Middleton.
Seven DUFC Academy Graduates were involved in this evening's matchday squad.
OUT THE TRAPS
A sign of things to come, Kristijan Trapanovski looked the likeliest to break the deadlock early on, pulling an effort wide of the mark before forcing Mark Ridgers into action.
After plenty of possession yet chances hard to come by, the breakthrough eventually came after 19 minutes courtesy of a free-flowing United move. Will Ferry and Louis Moult were initially involved with some neat interchanges before Trapanovski was found in space to sweep the ball home.

DOUBLING DOWN
One became two just after half an hour.
This time it was Fotheringham who led the United charge, neatly cutting in on his left foot before being chopped down inside the area by Joe McCabe.
With Calum Scott left with no option but to point to the spot, Kevin Holt stepped up from 12 yards, sending Ridgers the wrong way to double our advantage.
Chances came few and far between in what remained of the first 45 - the men in tangerine ahead by two as the whistle sounded.
NOT IN THE SCRIPT
The Highland League Champions pulled one back mere minutes after the restart as Jack MacIver's corner was nodded down into the side netting by Joe McCabe.
NORMAL SERVICE RESUMED
Just five minutes later our two-goal advantage was restored.
Bursting forward from full-back, Vicko Ševelj delivered a teasing ball across the face of goal for Trapanovski to notch his brace, touching home from close range.
The other half of our North Macedonian duo got in on the act just after the hour mark. A threaded ball found him inside the area and he cutely cut inside, sending Ridgers to the ground and sliding home to notch our fourth.
DEFICIT REDUCED
Spot kicks were evened up following a stramash at a Buckie corner. It looked like Holt was the one penalised although Ševelj was cautioned in the aftermath.
Proving provider earlier in the half, MacIver stepped up to add his name to the scoresheet with a well-struck penalty.
BACK TO THE SPOT
Our second penalty of the evening was awarded 15 minutes from time.
It was Ferry who charged into the box, and although Ridgers looked to make contact with the ball, United were again offered the chance to increase their lead.
It was Holt who stepped up once more and found the corner to hit our fifth.
The action died down as we approached the full-time whistle, United perhaps now relying on goal difference to escape the group.
