Scott Carnegie added; "In view of Jim's decision we have appointed on to the Board respected Dundee businessman John Bennett (PICTURED), the senior partner at J and E Shepherd, one of Scotland's most respected Chartered Surveyors firms. John brings additional business experience onto the board which will be essential in the weeks ahead as we continue our work to re shape the Club enabling its future owners to take-over from a much stronger position than we found it in."

John Bennett said, "It is an honour and a privilege to join the Board of Dundee United. Although like all the other Directors I am only here until we find a new buyer, I will bring whatever experience I can to move the Club forward."
