NINE TROPHIES SCOOPED AT DUNDEE UNITED'S PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARDS

Last night, Dundee United celebrated our 2023/24 campaign with our Player of the Year Awards!

Supporters, staff and corporate guests gathered in the Apex Hotel for a night of celebration as we recognised individual moments and performances from our Championship winning season.

It’s been one to remember for Jim Goodwin’s side, finishing the season as the best Championship winners since 2015/15 on 75 points - 6 clear of Raith Rovers. 

Craig Sibbald Hits a Hat-Trick

Craig Sibbald hit a clean sweep at the awards celebration, scooping the Fans’ Player of the Year (Sponsored by Calforth Construction), Players’ Player of the Year (Sponsored by McNally Recruitment) and the prestigious Player of the Year (Sponsored by Tayside Machinery) trophies.

Skipper Shining 

Captain of Dundee United Women, Rachel Todd took home both the DUFCW Player of the Year (Sponsored by Central Coaches) and DUFCW Players’ Player (Sponsored by Advanta Wealth).

The awards were accepted by her teammates on her behalf due to unforeseen circumstances. 

Men’s Young Player of the Year

It’ll come as no surprise that Kai Fotheringham picked up our Young Player of the Year award. In his breakthrough season, the Academy graduate contributed with 15 goals and seven assists in all competitions.

It was an open-and-shut and shut case as Louis Moult’s outrageous halfway line strike against Inverness racked up the most votes from supporters. 

DUFCW Goal of the Season

Keira Chuter’s stunning strike against Rangers came out on top against some stunning strikes from Suzie Shepherd’s side.
