2023/24 CAPTAIN & VICE CAPTAIN UNVEILED

We are pleased to confirm our Captain and Vice-Captain for the 2023/24 season.

Ross Docherty, who skippered both Ayr United and Partick Thistle, will now take the armband for the Terrors whilst striker Tony Watt will assist with leadership of the playing squad as vice-captain.

After making the decision, Dundee United Manager, Jim Goodwin, said: I'm delighted to have Ross as my captain going into this season.

"Ross has a wealth of experience as captain of a side in the Scottish Championship. He is a leader who has a calming influence within the group, and he has displayed that quality thus far in training and friendlies."

He continued: "While it was an easy choice to pick Ross as our skipper, there are a number of other leaders within the squad such as Jack Walton, Kevin Holt and Tony Watt who the players can lean on for further guidance."
