Dundee United defender Adam Hutchinson has joined cinch League One side Montrose on loan until January.
Adam, 19, has had previous loan spells at the University of Stirling and Dumbarton, where he played seven times towards the end of last season.
And having been at United since the age of ten, he will take the next stage in his development with a short-term switch to Links Park.
Dundee United Head of Player Pathway and Loans Brian Grant said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for Adam to gain more crucial competitive first team experience.
"Adam was a regular in our Under 18s before his short-term moves to University of Stirling and Dumbarton.
"It’s now time for the next valuable step in his career.
"Our younger players have previously enjoyed successful loan spells at Montrose, including Chris Mochrie, and we are confident this will be hugely beneficial to Adam."
