Dundee United are delighted to confirm that two of our highly-rated youngsters have signed new contracts.
Finn Robson has signed a one-year extension whilst Flynn Duffy put pen-to-paper on a new two-year deal.
Finn spent last year on loan at Spartans before his season was curtailed due to a shoulder injury, whilst Flynn had a successful spell at Peterhead, playing over 30 games in cinch League One.
The full-back was also fortunate enough to play for the first team last season and thrived during our pre-season camp in Spain.
Sporting Director Tony Asghar said: “We are really pleased to have secured both Finn and Flynn on extended deals.
"Both players made their first team debuts last season and benefitted from loan spells. Finn gained experience playing at Spartans while Flynn spent the second half of the season at Peterhead.
"They will now continue to develop under the Head Coach, the coaches, and the development staff at the HPC.”
Brian Grant, Head of Player Pathway and Loans, added: “We are delighted that two of our young prospects have committed themselves to Dundee United.
"With the re-introduction of the Reserve League, this will aid not only Finn but all the development players' experience.
"Finn has a chance to top up his game time by placing him at club that we feel he will make gain valuable minutes.
"Flynn Duffy is another player that has also been with the club since he was eight years of age. We are delighted that he has committed himself to club for the next chapter of his career.
"Flynn now has a real chance to push on and impress the new Head Coach."
Flynn will wear number 33 whilst Finn will wear the number 35 for the upcoming season.
