MILLER THOMSON NAMED ACADEMY POTM FOR JANUARY

Congratulations to Miller Thomson, who has been named Our Academy’s Player of the Month for January 2022.
 
The 17-year-old midfielder has bagged a goal and assist in the CAS Under-18s Elite League in January, against Kilmarnock and Motherwell respectively.
 
Our Academy’s Head of Player Development Andy Payne shared his satisfaction with Miller’s performances. “Miller has had a strong season in the Under 18s, consistently performing well and fully deserves the Player of the Month Award for January 2022.
 
Miller has always been a very hard-working player, proving to be very committed to his own individual development even when challenges have come his way, by really working hard to overcome them.
 
He has a good mix of attributes such as being athletic with the ability to carry the ball and glide past opponents to create and score goals.
 
He epitomises everything we are looking for in our young players, in terms of work ethic, and he’s been rewarded for his great attitude and willingness to learn. We’re looking forward to seeing him progress further in the coming years.”
