Dundee United can confirm that Louis Appéré has joined Northampton Town for an undisclosed fee.
The Academy graduate signed for the Terrors in the summer of 2016 from AM Soccer, and made his competitive debut in United’s Scottish Challenge Cup tie against Cowdenbeath in 2017.
Louis enjoyed a successful loan spell at Broughty Athletic and scored his first goal upon his return to United against Cowdenbeath in the League Cup group stages.
Perhaps Louis’ most memorable moment in a United shirt came in the 6-2 thrashing of Dundee at Tannadice, where he thundered a volley in off the bar to restore our lead in the 33rd minute.
Everyone at United would like to wish Louis all the best for the future and thank him for his efforts in tangerine.
