Perth-based players from the player leadership group visited various charities across their local community on Friday evening for the second round of Our Academy's charitable donations during the festive season following on from the food and board game donations to Dundee Foodbank and Dundee Bairns respectively last week.
The boys, all former Letham players, donated board games to Jon Kidd at Letham4All, a charity which encourages and supports people in getting more involved with their local community.
Further, Kobe' Mitchell collected and donated gifts to the Perth branch of the Saint Vincent de Paul charity, and Liam Speirs raised over £200 for Children Hospices Across Scotland.
Head of Player Care, Niall Nicholson, helps run the player leadership group consisting of players across U11s-16s age groups, and he gave his thoughts on another successful evening of community involvement. "The efforts from our player leadership group to support local charities in their communities has been outstanding. Thank you to all boys and parents for their contribution and we hope that the donations help those living in difficult circumstances during the festive period"
