SHAUN BROWN JOINS CUMBERNAULD COLTS ON LOAN

Dundee United can confirm Our Academy graduate Shaun Brown has joined Cumbernauld Colts in the Lowland League on loan until January.

The young winger has been at the club since the age of 14 and has been a regular for the Under-18s and Reserves over the last few seasons. Now, Shaun will experience regular first-team football at men's football for the first time as he looks to take the next step in his development.

Head of Player Pathway and Loans Brian Grant said: "We feel Cumbernauld is the right place for Shaun to head out to and experience first-team football. Like some of our other young players who have gone on loan this summer, Shaun needs a regular games programme this season and he'll get that at Cumbernauld."
