The return to action of Jamie Fullarton at the weekend was one of the highlights for many United supporters; however, no one is more delighted than the player himself. "It has been frustrating to say the least. Obviously after a long-term injury you cannot wait to get back into the first team and get involved as soon as possible. Touch wood, I am back in and hopefully I can put my injury problems behind me and concentrate on getting a long run in the side."
The United midfielder had no idea that he was going to play against Dundee. "I didn't have any idea as such that I would be in the team for the Dundee game because the gaffer was obviously going to keep his cards very close to his chest. I was delighted to be on from the start and I loved the game."
Jamie has a simple aim for the rest of this campaign. "I just want to play games more than anything else because that is what I came here to do. I love playing here and I want to play for United, for the fans and the management, all of whom have been tremendous with me."
AN EXTENDED INTERVIEW WITH JAMIE FULLARTON CAN BE FOUND IN THE NOVEMBER ISSUE OF TANGERINE & BLACK.
