UNDER 21’S CRASH AT EAST END PARK

Despite Tassos Venetis opening the scoring in the SPL Under 21 League, United lost to Dunfermline 1-2 at East End Park yesterday evening. Goals from Nicholls and Bullen in the final stages of the game denied the Tangerines anything from the match despite United dominating most of the 90 minutes. Manager Alex Smith was disappointed that his side had dominated the game but had gone on to lose. “It was a lesson in how we could dominate a match and still lose it. We played excellent football before being hit in the last ten minutes by two sucker punches.”
