Dundee United will support the annual PoppyScotland appeal with the team wearing the poppies on their jerseys at tonight's match vs St Mirren and Tuesday night’s Betfred Cup match vs St Johnstone.
On Tuesday evening the Club will also take part in a wreath playing ceremony at McDiarmid Park prior to kick-off. We are delighted to support our Armed Forces services through the appeal as well as remembering our fallen heroes.
Fraser Bedwell from Poppyscotland said: "The 2020 Scottish Poppy Appeal is in an emergency situation, with thousands of volunteers forced to stay at home due to the coronavirus pandemic.
"This comes at a time when demand on Poppyscotland’s vital, life-changing services is increasing rapidly. That’s why Poppyscotland is asking the public to support the Poppy Appeal like never before, and to donate differently.
"To help ensure that the Armed Forces community in Scotland receive the support they need and deserved, please donate today at www.poppyscotland.org.uk."
