In the run up to tonight's CIS Cup tie with St. Johnstone at Tannadice there was no training for the first team but it is business as usual for the coaching and physiotherapy staff.
"The first-team players have had a full week's training including yesterday and Sunday," explained coach Paul Hegarty. "They will gather this afternoon at 4.30pm for a pre-match meal at a hotel in Broughty Ferry and after the meal the gaffer will name the team and go over set pieces and tactics."
"Although Jamie Fullarton is the only first-team squad member there is of course always a steady stream of younger players to be looked after by Dave Rankine and for the remainder of the players, and that's twenty-eight in all, it's a normal day at Tannadice. We will have full training sessions to be supervised by myself and Mo and the younger boys' pre-match activities regarding the preparation of the dressing rooms etc. has to be monitored so it will be another full day for all concerned."
