David McCracken won his first Scotland Under 21 cap when he played in last night's 1-0 win over Latvia at Broadwood.
The United youngster, whose appearances in the United first team have become more frequent in recent weeks, played the full ninety minutes and was, on this occasion, United's only representative at Under-21 level.
David was one of four young Scots to make their debut last night. Killie 'keeper Colin Stewart, son of United coach Jim Stewart, Stephen Hughes of Rangers and Motherwell's Steven Hammell were the others as Under-21 coach Alex Smith's begins the annual task of re-shaping his side.
