NEW CLUB TV CHANNEL LAUNCHES NEXT WEEK

With Dundee United’s return to the Scottish Premiership just over a week away, we are pleased to announce the launch of DUTV – our upgraded streaming platform and Video On Demand service. 

Having been working alongside our new partners Stream Digital throughout the lockdown period to enhance our Club TV channel, the rebranded platform will bring a range of new and exclusive content alongside some of the old favourite features from its launch on Monday July 27. 

Alongside unique weekly features that will keep you close to the action as Micky Mellon leads our Club back into the top tier, DUTV will also provide subscribers access to over 4,000 videos available On Demand from our ArabZONE archive. 

Furthermore, our matchday broadcasts – available live to international subscribers and Virtual Season Ticket holders and On Demand for Domestic (UK & Ireland) subscribers – will benefit from several enhancements which we will continually develop. 

The home matchday programme will be hosted by writer and presenter Alistair Heather who will bring our fans exclusive pre-match content. Over the first few broadcasts, Alistair will also be joined by special guests at each home broadcast. 

Head of Communications Joe Rice said: "Staff have been working hard and the Club has invested in the platform to create an improved VOD offering for our loyal members and improved matchday offering that can be enjoyed by season ticket holders who cannot be there in person and also our international subscribers. 

"Ally Heather has great experience of presenting shows and loves the Club so he is a natural fit. We will look to include players and Club legends in the matchday programme as it develops over the early part of the season.

"Video On Demand members will also see improved exciting content as we look to take DUTV to the next level." 

There is a small price increase - for the first time since ArabZONE started in 2006 - to offset the investment that has gone into the upgraded product and prices are as follows: 

In the UK, you can choose between either a monthly subscription fee of £6.99 or £73.99 annually. 

International subscription is set at £16.99 per month (£179.99 annual) and this includes all the benefits of UK membership with live streams from all home and many away games. 

Virtual Season Ticket

DUTV is also the platform on which all our Virtual Season Ticket (VST) holders can view the live stream of all the Premiership home matches played under the current COVID-19 restrictions. 

We had hoped to do a stream test at the closed door friendly with Kilmarnock this Saturday, however, the upgraded website will not be live by this weekend. We will conduct two live stream test broadcasts for our VST holders and international members on the evenings of Thursday 30th and Friday 31st? between 6pm and 9pm ahead of our season opener against St Johnstone on Saturday 1 August. 

Full details of how each of our VST holder’s can access the matchday stream will be coming out early next week. 

Current ArabZONE members will transfer automatically

All current ArabZONE members will transfer over as members of DUTV on a UK-based membership and fans outwith the UK/Ire should update their membership to international in order to get all the benefits of living outside the UK - including live matchday streams from both home and away where available.
