NORMAN JAMIESON AGREES EXTENSION

Dundee United are delighted to announce a new and improved two-year extension title partnership deal with long standing Club sponsor Norman Jamieson Ltd.

For seasons 2020/21 and 2021/22 at least, the iconic name of Norman Jamieson will again be proudly displayed on the back of our home and away shirts. The haulage contractors have been dedicated supporters of Dundee United for many years and the latest announcement reinforces the terrific backing the company has given to the Club over many years.

Dundee United’s Head of Commercial Paul Reid said, “Norman Jamieson Ltd and Dundee United have built a wonderful relationship over the years. Each season they have shown a fantastic level of commitment to the team and we are absolutely delighted to announce them continuing as a main partner for another two years.

“On a personal note, I am over the moon to see the name Norman Jamieson again proudly displayed on our jerseys. We sadly lost Norman last year, but it is a fitting tribute to the man to see his name backing the players as we head back to the Premiership.”

Lynne Jamieson said, “Norman Jamieson Ltd have been involved in sponsorship with Dundee United for 17 years now, although the family’s support started way before that. It is a very proud moment for us as long-standing partners to see the Club flourish again and our name displayed on the back of United Premiership jerseys.”

Norman Jamieson Ltd, a family business, started back in 1970, with one lorry driven by Norman himself. It very quickly grew and currently boasts a fleet of twenty vehicles, all named after members of the family. Running alongside the haulage arm of the company is a very busy recycling centre for gravels and sand.
