Valentine's Day is a day to spend with your loved one, and in football, the love between fans and players can never be broken.
For ten-year-old Lochlan Murdoch, that relationship is shared with defender Mark Connolly. With Lochlan a diehard Kilmarnock fan, the bond between the pair began when Mark was a player at Rugby Park and has grown ever since.
Lochlan suffers from Type 1 Diabetes and is now walking around all the football grounds in Scotland in a bid to raise awareness and understanding of the illness and earlier this week he visited United.
Mark, along with American midfield duo Ian Harkes and Dillon Powers, took Lochlan around the hallowed turf of Tannadice Park as he got to catch up with his old friend.
He also got the chance to meet other members of the United first team, including new signing Rakish Bingham, Lawrence Shankland and Benji Siegrist.
