LENNON WALKER SIGNS PROFESSIONAL CONTRACT

Dundee United have moved to secure the future of another exciting Young Terror.

Attacking Midfielder Lennon Walker has signed a professional contract, joining the thirteen Academy Graduates who signed professional contracts last summer.

The Scottish FA Performance School graduate (Graeme High School, Falkirk) has been with the United Academy for over five years and played a year below his age group for the Under 16s last season, impressing enough to break into the Under 18 squad.

Academy Director Andy Goldie said, "We are delighted that Lennon has committed his future to Dundee United joining the thirteen Academy Graduates who signed last summer.

"Lennon flourished with our Under 16 squad last year playing a year below his age group - similar to Jamie Robson and Scott Banks previously - eventually managing to break back into the Under 18 squad where he has continued to impress.

"He has done the easy part and now has to push himself even harder to fulfil his potential."
