ULT83 AND ArabTRUST ADDRESS PERIOD POVERTY

It has been confirmed that supporters’ organisations ULT83 and ArabTRUST will continue to provide free sanitary products for women visiting Tannadice. 

ULT83 and ArabTRUST joined forces last year in a campaign to tackle period poverty and have been fully funding the project to stock and continually replenish women's public and corporate facilities at the ground.   

ULT83 Chair Kay Sievewright said: "Statistics indicate that at least one in ten women and girls cannot afford period products. As the United Ladies of Tannadice, we wanted to help female supporters and are pleased to work with ArabTRUST to turn Tannadice into a period-poverty-free zone."

 ArabTRUST Chairperson Susan Batten stated: "There is a period revolution going on around the country and we are proud to put Tannadice on the map of places where we tackle stigma and provide practical support in this area." 

Dundee United Managing Director Mal Brannigan added: "The Club is fully supportive of the work being done by ULT83 and ArabTRUST and of how they have embraced this important cause. It is another improvement in the provision supporters can expect at Tannadice these days."
