Fans attending the Queen of the South match today will be part of a brand-new custom at Dundee United as we celebrate Paul McMullan and present him with a signed shirt to recognise his achievement of reaching 100 games for the Club.
Paul reached the significant milestone at the recent away victory at Inverness. He will receive his framed top from the Club's leading appearance holder David Narey on the pitch around 2.40pm.
McMullan becomes the 152nd United player to represent the Club over 100 times and joins defender Jamie Robson (109 Appearances) as the only players in the current squad to have played 100 times for the Club.
Jamie will also receive a framed top from the Club next week to mark his achievement despite this new custom coming in after he made his 100th appearance against Inverness in August.
Sporting Director Tony Asghar, said: "All at Dundee United wish to congratulate Paul on this tremendous achievement. We are building the foundations of a sustainable football club with a commitment culture which hopefully will attract players to follow in the footsteps of Jamie Robson and now Paul. We want players to attain these career milestones at our Club which in today’s transient football industry are not common. From Fridays post game celebrations, I’m sure our fans saw how passionately he celebrated the win with his teammates and what it means to him to be Tangerine. Well done Paul.”
The match is a 3pm kick-off and fans can purchase tickets online 24/7 and scan their smartphone at the turnstile.
