Coach John Blackley today reviewed the progress of United's recent acquisitions, Stephen Carson and Ronnie O'Brien.
"Both are looking good. Stephen has been playing so much football at Under-21 level with Rangers that the gaffer is bringing him along gradually. He is being used in bits of games and the hope is that in doing so we will bring him up to the pace of the game."
"In Ronnie's case it's a completely different culture to what he has been used to recently on the continent. It's more than a question of pace, it's just going to take him some time to adjust back to all the aspects of the British way of playing. But he's coming along nicely and we could see in the match against Brechin last Monday that he is a quality player."
