United return home to Tannadice this Saturday to take on Arbroath in the Ladbrokes Championship in the sequel to the Tunnock’s Caramel Wafer Challenge Cup encounter from earlier this month.
Despite a dominant 90-minute performance from a much-changed United that day – with five shots on target compared to Arbroath’s zero – it was the Red Lichties who were victorious in the penalty shootout to progress to the last-16 of the competition.
United come into this match looking to maintain our spot at the top of the Championship table. Our part-time opponents occupy fourth place after enjoying a fine start to life back in the Championship, with just one defeat from their opening five matches.
This will be the first league meeting between the two clubs since 1975, in the old Scottish Division One, when the Tangerines ran out 3-1 winners.
Tickets can still be purchased ahead of Saturday’s 3pm kick-off at the ticket centre, by phone (0138 833166 option 1) or online.
Supporters can also purchase tickets via the new online system which makes buying tickets easier than ever. Once you have confirmed your purchase on the official Dundee United website, you can print the tickets at home or use your smartphone to scan the QR code at the turnstile scanner.
Please note, if you are purchasing multiple online tickets, each supporter will need to display a copy of their individual e-ticket for scanning purposes.
We remind fans that there are no cash gates available on the day and we no longer sell tickets from the George Fox Pod. Fans with smartphones can buy online upto kick-off and scan at turnstile in both the Eddie Thompson and George Fox stands.
