United's Under-21 team attempt to register a win this afternoon when they travel to Edinburgh to play Hibs. The Under 21's have made an unspectacular start to this season's campaign with only one win and two draws out of six matches. Coach Paul Hegarty is looking for the young Tangerines to add goals to their outfield play. "In the last two matches we have played reasonably well albeit we have drawn one and lost one. We have shown nice positive play but we need to add a cutting edge and I am looking for that today."
United take a strong looking team to Easter Road with Fullarton ready to continue on his comeback trail. Also scheduled to play is Alan Combe, Jim Paterson, Ronnie O'Brien, Tassos Venetis, David Partridge and Stephen Carson. Hegarty continued "I am sure that if one or two of the team show any signs of good form then they may be able to force themselves into the Manager's thoughts for this Saturday's derby match."
