United came from behind to win convincingly in the end at Tannadice today.
Two goals from Jim Hamilton in the 65th and 71st minutes turned a 1-0 deficit into a 2-1 lead before a superb Danny Griffin free-kick in the 84th minute put the issue beyond doubt.
Grant Brebner had put Hibs ahead after just three minutes and the Edinburgh side were worth their lead at half-time but it was a different story in the second-half as United stormed back to win their fourth match on the trot.
