YOUTHS DRAW WITH LIVERPOOL

Chris Mochrie, who recently became Dundee United’s youngest ever first team debutant, was on target twice as the Tangerines' youth team drew 2-2 with their Liverpool counterparts in a friendly at the Liverpool Academy.

Indeed, it was another impressive performance in which the United youngsters deserved more for their efforts.

A delighted Andy Goldie, United’s Academy Director said, “It was another fantastic experience for our boys against a strong Liverpool side.

“Our additional games programme, which is supported by our youth Development Board, is a key component of our strategy as we challenge our players against top opposition across Europe at every age level.”
