Dundee United Media has taken possession of a new 4K live-streaming camera as part of a sponsorship deal that sees Fife-based car repair centre Paint-Tec and ArabTRUST become the sponsor on all ArabZONE online clips throughout 2019.
The camera streams footage direct online, and this should allow the media team to stream more events live to ArabZONE members - including away games and off-site interviews. A period of testing will now commence with the hope that away fixture live streaming would be available come the start of the 2019/20 season at the latest.
The sponsorship will see ArabTRUST provide resource and manpower towards coverage and in-depth profiling of the reserve squad on and around reserve match days.
Joe Rice, Head of Communications said, "I am grateful to both Paint-Tec and ArabTRUST for this sponsorship. This camera should allow us to enhance ArabZONE's coverage for United fans. We can now conduct live stream tests, and the desire is to be able to provide full live streams from away games as well as home games from the start of next season, if not sooner.”
Stuart Campbell, the owner of Paint-Tec, said, "I was aware that Dundee United Media was looking for a camera upgrade and as someone who has offered help to the Club over the years, I was delighted to offer the camera as part of a bigger agreement with ArabTRUST."
Susan Batten, ArabTRUST said, "ArabTRUST are delighted to play a role in the sponsorship deal by helping to enhance the profile of the reserve team through greater online coverage using volunteers from our membership. The Club will allow us access to achieve this."
