Dundee United have signed attacker Cammy Smith from St Mirren on a two-year deal.
Cammy joins United as Robbie Neilson's second signing of the transfer window and returns to Tannadice after helping St Mirren secure the Ladbrokes Championship last season. He had previously spent a loan period at Tannadice during the first half of season 2016/17 playing 23 games and scoring five goals - including a hat trick against Partick Thistle in the Betfred Cup.
Cammy said, "It feels great to be here and once I knew United were interested my mind was made up. I know all about the Club having played here on loan, but this time I feel like a United player. I am more experienced, more mature and I have grown both as a person and a player. The aim is obviously to get up into the Premiership, and I am ready to do what I can."
Head Coach Robbie Neilson said, "Cammy will bring us real attacking intent. He can create and score goals, and he has the experience of winning the Championship previously. He is a good person, an excellent player and he adds quality to our team. I am pleased to have him signed up."
Cammy will wear the number 25 for United this season.
