Dundee United have signed attacking midfielder Aidan Nesbitt until the end of the season. The 21-year-old joins United after leaving MK Dons.
A product of Celtic's youth academy, Aidan has experience of the Championship having enjoyed a successful loan period at Greenock Morton during the 2016/17 season. Aidan also served a loan period at Partick Thistle in the Premiership during the 2015/16 season.
Aidan said, "It's a big club, and I am delighted to be here. The aim is to play football regularly with the goal of helping United reach the Premiership and hopefully secure a longer deal."
Head Coach Robbie Neilson said, "Aidan is someone I know well. I paid money to take him to MK Dons and his first season was excellent. It hasn't worked for him under a new manager down there, but I see him as the type of creative player who can help us produce more in the final third of the park."
Aidan, who has played for Scotland at various levels unto and including Under 21 level is match fit and is available for Saturday's home match versus Partick Thistle and will wear the number 15 this season.
