PREVIEW

United head to the Falkirk Stadium looking to improve both performance and result after a 1-1 draw at home to Morton last weekend. Fraser Fyvie's return to the team and last minute equaliser obvious high points on the day as was the return of Billy King to the team also. Both players played a part of the reserve game against Rangers during the week as they continue their efforts to get to full match fitness.

Falkirk has had a tumultuous start to the season and ex-United manager Ray McKinnon will be hoping to secure his first points as Falkirk manager against the team he played 122 times for and managed 72 times during almost two seasons at Tannadice. The Bairns start to the season saw them part company with Paul Hartley a few weeks back and are still looking for their first point of the league campaign after relinquishing a two-goal lead down at Ayr United last week.

Confidence will play a significant role in this game, and an early goal could be enough to swing momentum in either team's favour.
