HEAD OF MEDICINE AND SPORTS SCIENCE APPOINTED

Dundee United are delighted to announce the appointment of Marcin Szostak as the Club's first Head of Medicine and Sports Science. Marcin starts work today at United after leaving his role as Head Physiotherapist at Partick Thistle.

Marcin has worked as a physiotherapist for 15 years including the last seven within professional football. He will take on the new position leading the medical and physiotherapy team at United entrusted with achieving first-class results in all aspects of injury prevention, management and rehabilitation. 

Chairman Mike Martin said, "Marcin comes to us as the outstanding candidate. His knowledge, qualifications and experience stood out during the selection process. This is an important role, and Marcin’s appointment demonstrates our continued commitment to upgrading all areas of the Club."

Marcin said, "I am excited about my new position and being a Dundee United employee. This is a fantastic club with a tremendous, professional set-up and I already feel very much part of things and have been welcomed with great warmth. I now look forward to making an immediate positive impact here at Dundee United.”
