FIXTURE-GAP FILLED BY FORFARSHIRE

This season's thirteen-team Under-21 League means that one team has to sit out proceedings each Monday night. It is United's turn next Monday and with tonight's U-21 postponed and no games being played on Monday 8 October week because of the internationals an alarming gap in the fixture list, until a visit to East End Park on 15 October, suddenly appeared.

The potential inactivity has been resolved next week at least
with a Forfarshire Cup tie against Brechin at Glebe Park provisionally arranged for next Monday.
