Dundee United today announce that Nicky Clark will join the Club on a two-year deal from next season.
The 26-year-old striker has played at Dunfermline Athletic for the last two seasons, scoring 37 goals.
The son of former Rangers and Hearts striker Sandy Clark, Nicky progressed through the ranks of the Rangers and Aberdeen youth teams before signing for Peterhead and subsequently Queen of the South. He highlighted his scoring prowess in his second season with the Doonhamers with a prolific 42 goals in 45 appearances helping the Dumfries club gain a league and cup double. Nicky then moved on to Rangers where again he helped his side gain promotion.
Manager Csaba László said: “I am very pleased to secure the signing of a proven goal scorer. Nicky has tremendous ability and in addition to scoring he is also very good at reading the game.”
Nicky Clark added: “I am delighted to be joining a club of the stature of Dundee United and my main intention is to help the team get us up to the Premiership. I am really looking forward to this new challenge in my career.”
