United were defeated at home as QOS leave a chilly Tannadice Park with all three points.

Queens took the lead on 21 minutes when Joe Thomson held off Edjenguele and fired in a cross from 8 yards past Deniz in the United goal.
It was 2-0 on 40 minutes after Mark Durnan was adjudged to have pulled back Lyndon Dykes in the box. Up stepped Kyle Jacobs who buried the penalty leaving Deniz no chance.
Half Time: 0-2
Second Half:
Into the second half, United pulled one back out of nothing on 57 minutes. After McMullan’s cross was only partially cleared, Durnan was on hand at the back post to turn the ball home from two yards.
United then equalised ten minutes later with a goal that brought Tannadice to its feet. Scott McDonald found the top corner of Leighfields net with an exquisite free kick from 20 yards.
After dragging themselves back into the game there was to be no fairytale comeback as Queens scored the final goal of the game on 75 minutes and it was Joe Thomson with his second and Queens' third of the night. Thomson collected a poor clearance and, from 25 yards, thundered the ball past Deniz in the United goal.
Despite their best efforts, United were unable to find a third equalizer on the night and Queens left a cold Tannadice Park with all three points to boost the play-off chances.
