The Young Terrors were defeated by their Aberdeen counterparts at Links Park tonight.

In a first half of few clear-cut chances, Seb Ross gave the Dons the lead five minutes from the end when he was played in and steered the ball past United keeper Josh Donaldson.
That lead was extended after 64 minutes when a Toby Wells free-kick took an awkward bounce to beat Donaldson.
Immediately, United brought on all three subs and that sparked the Tannadice side into life.
Indeed, two were instrumental in their goal after 73 minutes.
Scott Allardice was brought down 20 yards out and Logan Chalmers fired the ball under the wall to beat the keeper at his near post.
However, hopes of a recovery were dashed 11 minutes from the end when Dean Campbell poked home a third 11 minutes from time to ensure the visitors’ victory.
Dundee United: Donaldson, Ritchie, Dailly, Davidson, Bollan, Reekie, Appere, Inglis (Allardice 65), Piggott (Glass 55), Taylor, Mcmeekin (Chalmers 65)
Subs not used: Hornby.
