The Young Terrors defeated their Falkirk counterparts 3 - 0 at Glebe Park tonight in an entertaining game.
The Tangerines took the lead after 16 minutes with a neat finish by Jake Davidson after good link-up play between Graham Taylor and Joe Piggott.
Although United remained in control for the remainder of the first period, there was a great opportunity to extend the lead when Joe Piggott found himself through on goal but the Falkirk GK denied a goal with a good save.
But just seven minutes after the restart, the lead was doubled when Scott Reekie played the ball up to Dom Mcmeekin whose through ball found Taylor and his finish from 18 yards deceived the keeper.
On the hour mark, Davidson coolly slotted home the third after great wing play from Louis Appere.
14-year-old Academy player, Mackenzie Lemon made his U20s debut in the 78th minute replacing Jordan Hornby at left full back.
