The #NoisyNeighbour challenge is coming to Dundee United this Saturday during the match against Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
The challenge will see a decibel reader measuring how loud fans can scream, whoop and cheer – and the idea is to be louder than rivals, Dundee, who will be doing their challenge next week.
We will be placing the monitor in the middle of the Eddie Thompson stand, and the contest will happen just before kick-off. It will be announced over the tannoy and on the screens, so listen out on the day, and don’t be late!
Midfielder Scott Fraser was on top of the Law on Wednesday morning to have it out with Cammy Kerr to see who the loudest player was, and he won!
Now it is the turn of the United fans, so let’s do him, and all the United players proud, and let’s win the #NoisyNeighbour challenge!
The contest has been put on by main club sponsors, McEwan Fraser Legal. Chief executive Ken McEwan says, “We’re proud to support both Dundee and Dundee United, and we want to allow the fans a chance to show us who can create the biggest racket and be crowned noisiest neighbour.”
