PARTRIDGE LOOKS SET FOR PLYMOUTH

15th August 2001

Defender David Partridge looks set to re-establish a working relationship with former Tannadice boss Paul Sturrock.

United have agreed a deal with Sturrock's current club Plymouth Argyle, and Partridge is ready to move back south. The big Londoner, who joined United from West Ham United on 11 March 1999, had amassed 62 first team appearances by the end of the 2000/01 season.

The twenty-two year old former Welsh Under 21 internationalist is travelling down to Plymouth this afternoon where it seems likely he will not only team up again with Paul Sturrock but also with former team-mate David Worrell who is already at Home Park.
