At a blustery Station Park, a United side containing six first teamers frustrated Ross County's title ambitions by holding them to a 2-2 draw.

Initially, the Tannadice side looked on course for victory after going two up.
But County's spirited comeback meant they drew level and, thereafter, only some heroics by United keeper Brett Long preventing the Staggies securing victory.
Very much on top in the first half, United opened the scoring four minutes from the interval when Alex Nicholls fired home after County failed to clear their lines from a corner.
Five minutes after the restart, Coll Donaldson swept home a Charlie Telfer cross for the second.
Just after the hour mark, only a fine save by Long kept out a deflected free-kick from Davis Keillor-Dunn, but in the aftermath, former Tannadice youth wing-back Reghan Tumilty forced the ball home.
Staggies’ pressure intensified and was rewarded with the equaliser ten minutes from time.
Gav Ritchie brought down the very lively Keillor-Dunn and Dylan Dykes sent the keeper the wrong way from the resultant penalty.
Hard as County tried, they couldn’t beat Long again, so now must wait until next Monday’s home meeting Hamilton to pick up the three points required.
As the final whistle sounded, United defender Lewis Toshney required treatment on an arm injury after falling awkwardly.
