Jamie Robson has extra motivation if any is needed for Saturday's Irn-Bru Cup final versus St Mirren. His grandparents who have never seen him play for United in the flesh are coming over from Spain for the final.
Jamie explained: "My grandparents live near Alacante and I see them a lot because we used to go over a lot for holidays because the beaches are perfect but they have never travelled over to see me play for United before but the flights are booked and they are over for this one.
"I will not need any extra motivation other than to win this for myself and the Club but it would be great to win it in front of my grandparents."
Jamie who has played 17 times for the Tangerines has been in and out of the team this season but is determined to do his bit to secure the trophy for the Terrors.
"Hopefully I can keep my place but first thing is first and we want to win this cup. It would be nice to do it and it would help boost us for the final matches in the season.
"The spirits are high and everyone is up for this."
Jamie attended the Tesco Bank Community Football ChallengeĀ at Craigie Community Hub on Wednesday.
