Alex Smith tonight admitted there was growing interest in the availability of Jason deVos but he emphasised that the impending departure from Tannadice of the big Canadian will be handled in keeping with his status as a full international.
"As yet there have been no definite bids received for Jason but we have had several inquiries-a couple of them involving the suggestion he might go on trial," revealed Smith.
"That will not be happening, however, because this is not some junior player we are talking about. Jason de Vos is an internationalist of whom there is plenty footage for interested clubs to study rather than take him on trial."
