BARCELONA 50TH ANNIVERSARY EVENING ON WEDNESDAY

TOMORROW, on Wednesday 16 November, exactly 50 years to the day of defeating Barcelona at home in the Fairs Cities Cup, come along to Tannadice Park’s Hegarty Suite from 7pm and enjoy an evening of nostalgia as we celebrate the achievement of our victory over the then holders Barcelona by an aggregate score of 4-1 . Please note the event was incorrectly advertised in today's Courier as taking place this evening, ie Tuesday 15 November. On the night, we shall enjoy a minute by minute timeline of events of the action that unfolded half a century ago culminating with the celebrations of the final whistle at 9.10pm.   You will also get the opportunity to be personally guided through the recently opened United in Memories European Display.  Also throughout the evening we will hear personal recollections and tales from United fans as they relive that glorious historic event. Entry is free and the suite opens from 7pm. The bar is also available to enjoy refreshments throughout the night, so come along relive the memories and be at Tannadice exactly 50 years to the minute since the 28,000 crowd witnessed United history.
