TANNADICE WELCOMES THREE YOUNG TERRORS

Dundee United have secured three promising young stars ahead of the start of the 2016/27 Development season. Defender Scott Reekie (right) and attacking midfielder Dominic McMeekin (left) have signed alongside attacker Logan Chalmers (centre). Fifer Scott and local lad Logan have been with the Dundee United Academy since the age of ten and came through the Scottish FA performance programme at St John’s High School in Dundee. Dominic, who hails from Airdrie, has also been with the Academy since ten years of age and has trained at the Club’s satellite training centre in the central belt for the past six years. Senior Academy Manager Brian Grant said, “We are delighted that the lads have committed their futures to Dundee United and we have high hope for all of them. With the platform to train and be coached full-time we expect them to develop into excellent players that will have the opportunity to progress into our first team and beyond.”
