Oban Tournament

A young United squad ventured to Oban to take part in the annual D & K Laferty Cup on Saturday. After losing to Hamilton Accies in the first 40-minute game, the young terrors then took on Alloa Athletic and won 2-0 thanks to goals from Graham Taylor and Harry Souttar. Next up was Hearts and it finished 3-0 to the young terrors with Matty Smith, Logan Chalmers and Graham Taylor grabbing the goals. The final game saw the host Oban Saints hold United to a 0-0 draw. Hamilton Accies were the winners of the round-robin styled tournament.
