The Club is saddened to hear of the passing of Jimmy Coyle, brother of the legendary Hall of Famer Johnny Coyle who died last month.
After signing for the Club on 27 June 1955, Jimmy played as a winger for two seasons, 1955/56 and 1956/57, making 35 appearances and scoring eight goals.
Jimmy made his debut on 24 August 1955 against Brechin City and just had to wait for a little under a month to score his first goal for the Club. That first goal came in a brace against Alloa Athletic on 21 September 1955 and his brother, the late Johnny Coyle, also scored two that day.
