IAN BRITTON

Dundee United is saddened to hear of the passing of 1982/83 Premier Division winner Ian Britton. Ian played 18 times for the Terrors over two seasons at the Club including seven starts and three substitute appearances in United's historic title charge. He scored two goals for the Club including the third goal in a 5-1 rout of Raith Rovers in August 1982 league cup section match and the second goal in a 3-3 home draw with Hibernian in March 1983. Our deepest condolences are extended to his family and friends at this sad and difficult time.
