Youthful United Downed By Arbroath

A goal in each half was enough to secure victory for hosts Arbroath against a youthful United side at Gayfield. A sensational 25 yard strike just before half time by Jamie Reid and a composed finish by Kane Hester six minute from time secured the victory for Arbroath. Best performers for United on the night were left back Jamie Robson and midfielder Scott Lockhead. A crowd of 1440, swelled by around 1100 Arabs watched the entertaining match.
