United’s winless run continued at Tannadice today, following a comfortable win for visitors Partick Thistle.
By Greg Watson
Stephen O’Donnell gave Thistle the lead in the 34th minute, with a well taken finish that left Radoslaw Cierzniak with no chance. The Jags doubled their lead on the 41st minute, when the ball appeared to ricochet into the goal off of Ryan McGowan, although Jarek Fojut is currently being officially credited with the dubious distinction of the OG scorer.
United never really threatened the Thistle goal at all, although Henri Anier spurned a couple of late chances to cut the deficit, but the visitors were well worth their victory.
